Due to the repairs of the infrastructure on the site of Zhmerynka – Grechani, Ukrainian Railways suspended the ticket sales for a number of trains that go in the western direction. The press office of the open joint-stock company reports.
‘To undertake scheduled repairs of the infrastructure on the site of Zhmerynka – Grechani, amendments will be introduced into the timetable of the trains that go in the western direction. Consequently, the sales of the tickets will be suspended for the trains in this direction,’ reads the message.
The repairs are scheduled for the third and fourth weeks of September.
The ticket sales are going to be resumed yet this week after the adjusting of the train schedule.
Reportedly, dozens of Ukrainian populated localities left without electricity due to the inclement weather conditions.
In particular, 46 populated localities in Lviv and seven in Volyn regions are without electricity. Several passenger trains in Lviv region are delayed because of the absence of the electricity.
