The company also states that work on the refund of unused tickets continues.
“In total, passengers returned money for 617,300 tickets, of which 401,600 were booked online, and more than 215,700 -through railway ticket offices. Another 126,700 unused tickets are expected to be returned in Ukrzaliznytsia,” the company stated.
Ukrainian Railways noted that the company returns to passengers 100% of the cost of travel documents for all trains that were canceled due to the introduction of quarantine measures in the country.
“If the ticket was purchased online, it can be returned through the personal account. Funds will be transferred within 30 days to the bank card from which the trip was paid. If the departure date has already passed, the passenger needs to print a ticket and go to a special department at the railway stations of Kyiv, Dnipro, Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv, and Lyman. If the ticket was bought or was printed at the box office, it can be returned at any railway box office in Ukraine," said in a statement.
