Residents of the occupied territories of Donbas will soon be able to listen to programs of the First Channel of the Ukrainian Radio. Serhiy Kostynsky, the member of the National Council on TV and Radio Broadcasting, said that at a conference in Kyiv, where participants discussed reintegration of Donbas in conditions of the hybrid war.

‘In the near time, we’re going to launch a powerful MW transmitter, whose signal will, by our estimates, reach all occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions,’ Kostynsky said.

Since spring 2014, locals of the occupied areas of Donbas have been partially or completely cut off the Ukrainian TV and radio channels - due to the enemy activity in the region and the hybrid war, which has been waged by the Kremlin ever since.
