An instructor pilot died during the training flight in Kazakhstan on Thursday; the Ukrainian embassy in this country reports that he was the citizen of Ukraine.

‘Unfortunately, he is a Ukrainian national and the Ukrainian citizen; we’ve got written confirmation of this fact,’ the embassy’s press service said, specifying that the deceased whose name is S.P. Kurchenko was born in 1970.

Tecnam P2002, the training aircraft, took off from Azem airfield, 43 km from Almaty, and crashed during the training flight. Both people who were aboard, the instructor and his student, perished in the accident.
