Ukrainian pharmacies and stores have enough means of protection. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal during a meeting with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
He added that more than 90% of drugstore chains and stores were provided with safeguards.
As of now, Ukraine has not yet reached its peak. So far, the mortality rate in the country is 2.7% of the number infected.
It is worth noting that over 2,500 tests for coronavirus were held in Ukraine during the last weeks.
Totally, during this time, 2,506 tests of people with pneumonia were held and, of course, all these cases were included in the overall statistics,” Ukraine's Healthcare Minister Maksym Stepanov noted.
He also stated that all tests for coronavirus were free and any abuse in that was impossible.
As we reported earlier, as of early April 17, there are 4,662 confirmed cases of infection with COVID-19 in Ukraine. 501 new cases have been confirmed over the last 24 hours (April 16).
In total, 125 people succumbed to the disease, and 246 patients recovered.
