Ukrainian Oleh Prykhodko detained in Crimea

Pro-Ukrainian activist Oleh Prykhodko from Saky was detained in annexed Crimea as Krym.Realii reported citing ex-MP of Ukraine Eduard Leonov.

“The daughter of Oleh Prykhodko reported about it. She said that the unknown broke into their house and took the father to FSB. They took him away immediately. The reasons unknown, any new information provided neither to the relatives nor to me,” Leonov said.

There are no official comments from the Russian security and law enforcement departments.

In February 2019, the Russian security forces searched pro-Ukrainian activist Oleh Prykhodko in the village of Orekhovo, Saksky district of Crimea. 

Earlier Russian special services detained and questioned Crimean Tatar human rights activist Abdureshit Dzhepparov.

Besides, two Ukrainians were detained at the administrative border with Crimea in Kherson region. According to FSB, they are on the federal wanted list.

In September, representatives of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation illegally detained an inspector of one of the divisions of the State Customs Service of Ukraine. The man was detained while crossing the Ukrainian-Russian border at the Shebekino checkpoint. During the inspection of his car, officers of the Russian special service allegedly found dual-purpose goods in it.
