Ukrainian military servicewoman dies after vaccination

Healthcare Ministry claimed that the lady had cardiovascular diseases, and the death was caused by acute blood circulation disorder

Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry made a statement on the recent death of a lady who served with the Ukrainian army and was vaccinated two days ago. The authority claimed that according to preliminary reports, she succumbed to the symptoms of acute blood circulation disorder.

The respective statement was released by the Ministry's press department.

"The death of military servicewoman was observed in Chornomorske settlement, Lyman district, Odesa region, on March 23, at 5.20 p.m.", the statement says.

The patient appears to have suffered from cardiovascular diseases, the Ministry said.

The military lady was vaccinated with CoviShield vaccine on March 21. She was in the priority vaccination group; the woman was supposed to go to Donbas conflict zone.   

"The lady had no counter-indications, specifical allergies to components of the drug. On that day, another nine people were vaccinated from the same flask of the vaccine. No unfavorable events in other patients were observed after the vaccination", reads the statement.

As of early March 23, the lady did not claim any health concerns. Forensics are yet to find a certain cause of death.
