Ukrainian military aircraft will take part in the International Airshow-2018, which will be held in Poland. This was reported by the press service of the Air Force command in Facebook.
"In the period from August 24 to August 27, the military aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will take part in the International Airshow 2018 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Polish Armed Forces creation. The show will be held at the Radom air base," said representatives of the Air Forces.
The show will feature the crews of Su-25UB, Su-27UB and An-26 aircraft. The first deputy commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Arkady Vashutin, will head the Ukrainian delegation.
"At the Radom aviation base, the presentation of aviation equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and demonstration of its capabilities in the air and ground show will be held. It will generally support the image of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the international level," Vashutin said.
Yesterday Ukrainian military aviation participated on the parade for the 27th Anniversary of the Independence Day of Ukraine for the first time in nine years. Participation of 18 countries’ soldiers is another novelty. 112 Ukraine was broadcasting the parade for the Independence Day.
20 fighter aircraft, transport aircraft, and helicopters flew above Khreshchatyk street.
In particular, the Sukhoi Su-25 attack plane was presented on the parade. The plane is designed for the provision of the air support of the ground forces units in the zone of military operations in the hostilities zones, for the attacks on enemy targets in tactical and operational depth. Also, Sukhoi Su-24 bombers flew above Kyiv. The plane is capable of traveling distances up to three thousand kilometers at an altitude of up to 12 thousand meters at a speed of up to 2 thousand km/h, with a combat load of up to 7 tons.
