During an online briefing, Ukraine’s Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov said that domestically produced lung ventilators, manufactured at Novator State Enterprise, could be used in emergency medical care. The briefing was broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV channel.
"We were approached by Novator for an obtainment of a permit for the production. This is a non-invasive method of ventilation which, in particular, can be used in emergency medical care for a short time in order to bring a seriously ill patient to the hospital," Stepanov said.
He also added that, in his opinion, the enterprise had prospects for export of its products.
As we reported earlier, in June, the number of daily PCR tests for coronavirus in Ukraine will be increased up to 20,000.
This will be possible due to the increase in the capacity of laboratory centers. Currently, 59 laboratories operate in Ukraine around the clock.
"At the beginning of June, the Ministry plans to reach 15 to 20,000 daily tests for coronavirus," Ukraine's Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov said.
