Passenger service will be resumed in Ukraine in stages

Public transport will be resumed in Ukraine gradually. This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krykliy on his Telegram page.

He noted that the stages of resumption of the passenger transport would be agreed with the Ministry of Health by the end of the following week.

Krykliy also said that the Ministry of Infrastructure was working with air carriers and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the list of the countries with which air connection would be restored.

Mandatory means of transportation will include personal protective equipment for passengers and staff. Temperature screening of all passengers will be carried out, the number of seats will be limited.

As we reported earlier, Head of Kyiv city state administration Vitaliy Klitschko turned to the Cabinet of Ministers, asking to resume the work of the underground in the capital of Ukraine.

"I ask the government to allow to restore the work of the underground in the capital starting from May 22; May 25, to be precise, because May 22 is Friday, and then, a weekend follows. Of course, we're going to take the spread of the virus into account, and we hope it will not worsen!" Klitschko said.
