As part of the fight against the coronavirus epidemic, the Ukrainian government has decided to introduce restrictions on the number of passengers who are allowed to use the public transport at the same time. This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Krykliy on his Telegram channel.
"From 12.00 on March 18, 2020, city transfers can be carried out in the next mode: up to 10 people in shuttle buses, trolleybuses, buses, tram cars," Krykliy said.
Private road transport of citizens can be utilized without restrictions.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine blocked all types of traffic across the state border as part of measures to combat the Covid-2019 epidemic.
On March 16, Ukraine temporarily closed about a hundred checkpoints and banned entry into Ukraine for foreigners. However, checkpoints that have high traffic capacity will continue operating.
The restrictions will remain in force until April 3, unless otherwise is decided by the authorities in the fight against the coronavirus.
