The government of Ukraine began the planning of the events dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the 1932-1933 Holodomor. The session of the organizing committee with the chairmanship consisted of Volodymyr Groysman, the Ukrainian Prime Minister and Ihor Rainin, the Head of Presidential Administration took place as the administration reported.
The issue of the building of the second state of the National Museum ‘Memorial to Holodomor Victims’ was discussed during the session.
Ihor Rainin drew the attention to the necessity to achieve the progress in the building of the second state of the Memorial to Totalitarianism Victims, prepare and hold the International forum dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the 1932-1933 Holodomor in Ukraine until November 2018.
The members of the session discussed the issues of the organization of the International forum dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the 1932-1933 Holodomor in Ukraine in November 2018 and installment of the memorial dedicated to James Mace, the researcher of Holodomor.
Also, the issue of the renewal of the work on the creation of the National Book of Remembrance of Holodomor Victims was discussed.
