The cats as the workers of the Foreign Ministries are not a rarity. Two cats began to work at the French Foreign Ministry on December 19. They were hired due to the fact that the rats appeared at the building of the ministry.

Also, Palmerstone cat became the worker of the UK Foreign Ministry. It is considered that the cat was named after Viscount Palmerston, the former Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the UK.
