The anthem of Russia was played before the match. Ukrainian did not join hands with the rest of the players and judges to face the flag, which caused a negative reaction from the Russian fans. Nevertheless, "Nizhny Novgorod", for which Fedoriv plays, won the match with a minimum score.
Fedoriv has been playing for the club from Nizhny Novgorod since 2017 and participated in 10 matches for it. From 2008 to 2011, Vitaly played for the Perm "Amkar". In the asset of Fedoriv there are two games for the national team of Ukraine.

Earlier Yevhen Seleznev, the forward of Ukraine's national team became the hero of the finale of Super Cup of Turkey; the game between Akhisar and Galatasaray took place on Sunday.
Akhisar, the current holder of Turkish Cup, went for a quick attack on the opponent's goals, putting heavy pressure; so Galatasaray allowed a goal from Seleznev early in the first half. Seleznev's team could have easily won the game, but Galatasaray's Derdiyok equalized briefly before the final whistle.
It all ended up in a penalty series, where Seleznev also scored - this time from the spot. His goal sealed the trophy's fate, as Akhisar won in the shootout (4-5).
In December 2016, Seleznev, the forward of Shakhtar Donetsk and Ukraine’s national team, switched clubs. The Ukrainian signed in with Turkish team, Karabükspor FC. Then, he changed the team again and joined Akhisar Belediyespor.
