The documentary “Ivano-Frankivkskteplokomunenergo sings” directed by Ukrainian filmmaker Nadia Parfan has won three out of four awards in the industrial section of Last Stop Trieste International Film Festival in Trieste, Italy, as the State Film Agency reported on Facebook.
According to the agency, the movie has got such awards as Film Center Serbia LST Award, 2,500 euro, HBO EUROPE Award, 1,000 euro, and FLOW Post Production Award.
“We knew that our communal service workers will not let us down, and we did not expect such recognition of our project and we still under the impression from this jackpot,” the producer of the film noted.
The movie “Ivano-Frankivkskteplokomunenergo sings,” directed by Nadia Parfan, tells about the routine of communal service workers. The project of the film became one of the winners of the 10th competitive selection process of the State Film Agency. The sum of the state financial support is $42,000.
As we reported, almost $17 million were spent on the production of Ukrainian films in 2018.
