Ukrainian Fashion Week (UFW) is scheduled to take place at Kyiv’s Mysteyskyi Arsenal from August 31 to September 4, 2020, and will be held in a new format.

According to the organizers, they will not cancel or postpone the season.

"We are preparing for the season as usual and we are working on several options in case UFW takes place during the lockdown. We are not going to break the law and put people in danger. Fashion Week will be exactly as it should be depending on the situation. Health and safety of our colleagues and partners are our top priorities," the statement said.

UFW has decided to support Ukrainian designers by announcing the concept of all-season - NO SEASON season - and urging designers to present collections in a variety of formats: both in traditional and digital. Designers will also be able to show collections that were not presented last season but are relevant for sale now, as well as collections of the new season.

As we reported earlier, this year's Barbie Role Models collection introduced a doll that was inspired by the Ukrainian sabre fencer - the 2008 Olympic champion, a four-time World champion, and a five-time European champion Olga Harlan.
