Ukraine's Healthcare Minister Maksym Stepanov commented on the initiative by one of Ukrainian MPs tp punish doctors if they refuse to be vaccinated. The Minister stressed that no one will fire these workers for that.
Press office of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry reported that on Thursday, quoting Stepanov.
'I will not let anyone abuse our doctors and all medial workers - in any way. Some people refuse because a lot of workers recovered from Covid-19, and their level of anti-bodies is still high; but they want to get inoculated later. The vaccination is optional here", Maksym Stepanov said.
He also added that the number of those willing to get vaccinated will be growing gradually, when more and more people start realizing that there are more benefits than risks in vaccination.
The second stage of vaccination from coronavirus in Ukraine began on March 22. Family doctors and people older than 80 will get their injections.
