In Ukraine, family doctors were allowed to issue Covid vaccination certificates to citizens who had received two doses of vaccination. The relevant decision was made during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
"Today we are making changes that will allow family doctors to issue certificates certifying the completion of a full course of vaccination," Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said.
He also noted that almost 50,000 vaccinations are given in Ukraine every day and will be accelerated in the near future.
As it was reported earlier, the inner Ukrainian Covid-19 certificate should appear at Diia app on July 1, 2021, according to the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The all-European system of Covid certificates is supposed to start working to full extent by July 1. Currently, these documents are issued in seven countries. Then Ukraine’s Health Minister Maksym Stepanov stated that Covid-19 certificates in Ukraine will include information on vaccination and they can be launched until July 1.
