Ukraine's delegation started working at Berlinale European Film Market. This year, because of the coronavirus pandemic, the event is held online. 

According to the State Film Agency of Ukraine, the action of Ukrainian online stand will be focused on the promotion of national fims on the international film market, improvement of cooperation with foreign partners and informing foreign colleagues about the shooting process in Ukraine and nice locations for filming, and, finally, the introduction of cash rebates.

Four Ukrainian films will be screened during this edition of the European Film Market:

  • Ursus by Zaza Buadze (2020, road movie);
  • Gulliver Returns by Toni Bonilla and Illya Maksymov (2021, animation picture for entire family); 
  • Puzzles by Andriy Kyrylov (2021, full-length documentary);
  • Stop-Zemlia by Kateryna Hornostai (2021, fiction film, drama).

The last film from this list is also on the contest program of Berlinale Generation 14+; the winners will be named on March 4.
