Tramcar manufacturer Tatra-Yug won the tender for the supply of 17 trams to the Romanian city of Craiova. The Československý Dopravák news agency reports this.

The company to deal with the 25-meter tram cars, the cost of each is 1.7 million euros.

According to the outlet, the Turkish companies Durmazlar and Bozankay, as well as the Polish Pesa, also applied for participation in the tender.

The message about the victory of the Ukrainian manufacturer appeared on the official procurement portal on July 29, while it was noted that the winner was determined on July 24, but another week was allotted to challenge the result.

It is noted that the price criterion for determining the winner was 80%.

The publication suggested that in case of the final victory of the Ukrainian manufacturer, completely low-floor tram cars of the new model K1-T306 will be delivered to Craiova.
