Ukrainian citizens fined nearly $250,000 for violating lockdown restrictions

Since the introduction of lockdown in Ukraine, law enforcement officers have drawn up almost 18,000 administrative protocols for violating the restrictive measures totaling 245,000 dollars. This was announced by Head of the National Police Ihor Klymenko, Telegram-channel “Coronavirus in numbers" reports.

In particular, on July 10, the National Police filed 235 administrative reports in connection with the violation of quarantine restrictions in shops, cafes, and restaurants.

In addition, representatives of the State Consumer Service inspect about 4,000 objects every day. Based on the results of inspections, the inspectors of the department have already issued 896 orders and 74 fines.

As we reported earlier, as of early July 13, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 54,133 cases of coronavirus all over the country.

Over the last 24 hours, 612 people have got infected. So far, 1,398 people have deceased from the sickness (+15 per day), and the other 26,503 patients have recovered (+385 per day).
