A Ukrainian border guard from Lviv region published a video clip on TikTok, where he compared the military men of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to pigs. This video clip is actively spread in Russia, as military blogger, officer of the Armed Forces, Colonel Anatoliy Stefan reported.
Author of the video clip Ihor Sharun is a border guard of the Volyn region. The colonel asked the author to delete the video but Sharun refused. The border guard agreed to delete the video only when he was identified and it was promised to make him public. Sharun deleted the video and his TikTok account.
“Meet ‘mommy’s blogger’ Ihor Sharun. Yesterday, on TikTok, I accidentally saw the video against the Armed Forces of Ukraine…In the video, the author compares the Armed Forces of Ukraine and soldiers to pigs and gave them commands from the Statute in the Ukrainian language,” Stefan noted.
The video became popular very quickly, reached 119,000 views, about 5,000 likes, and 570 reposts from Russians. Stefan asked to start the internal investigation.
Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Serhiy Deineko stated that he is outraged by the situation and considers this act shameful.
“It is hard for me to realize what motives lie beneath the move of the border guard when he spread the video that insults the Ukrainian defenders. I honestly state as the leader of the department, I consider this act shameful and I will not allow to disgrace the honor and dignity of soldiers, my fellowmen, colleagues and all people with whom we continue to defend Ukraine,” Deineko wrote.
He added that the internal investigation was already appointed and assured that the author of the video will incur strict liability. The Border Guard Service of Ukraine plans to apply all legal mechanisms to prosecute Ihor Sharun.
Meanwhile, Ihor Sharun noted on Facebook that he is ashamed ‘of the impetuous and shameful act’ and apologized to all defenders of Ukraine.
“I am really sorry that during the use of one of the social networks I spread highly inappropriate about the army of Ukraine. I apologize once more to my fellowmen and every person who protects our country for this situation,” Sharun wrote.
He added that he did not have and does not have any thoughts about the mockery of the army of Ukraine.
As we reported, the cyber specialist of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) blocked the activity of the powerful bot-farm used by Russia for the spread of destructive information.
