A 57-year-old Ukrainian tourist from Zaporizhya died in a hospital in Turkey. He was in a coma for a week after he was beaten by a tourist from Russia in Antalya resort on July 7, Interfax-Ukraine reports citing the travel agency Liga-Tour Service".

A resident of Zaporizhya died on Saturday about 10:00. Information about this travel agency received from the relatives of the victim.

On Saturday afternoon in the Zaporizhya airport were preparing for a plane of sanaviation from Antalya with the injured Ukrainian tourist, but a few hours before the arrival of the plane the flight was unexpectedly canceled.

As reported, on July 7 in Turkey, a Russian citizen  beaten a 57-year-old Ukrainian. According to available information, the conflict between a citizen of Ukraine and a 30-year-old tourist from the Russian Federation arose during the viewing of the match between the World Cup Croatia-Russia.

The man was hospitalized unconscious in intensive care. The travel agency said that the Russian entered the hotel, where Ukrainian tourists were resting, from a nearby hotel. According to the travel agent, the Ukrainian during the admission to the medical institution was in a state of intoxication, which deprives him of the right to insurance compensation.

According to the relatives of the injured Ukrainian, Turkish police fined the Russian by $800, after which he left for his homecountry.
