Ukrainian band Okean Elzy presented a video clip of the new song “Pereval” (Mountain Pass), which became the official soundtrack of the movie Zakhar Berkut, or The Rising Hawk in the international rollout. The movie scenario is based on the novel by Ivan Franko with the same name.

“The story of Zakhar Berkut and the brave villagers of Tukhlia is the story of courage, the courage of men, women, children. It is about the courage that has repeatedly helped us all overcome many steep turns of fate and mountain passes. It is great that this story is told again, right now. And that's what our new song is about. I have already seen the film's working materials, it is really cool. I am eagerly waiting for the premiere,” OE front man Svyatoslav Vakarchuk said.

The clip shows the footage from the historical action movie Zakhar Berkut. Additional scenes with the band's front mam, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, were filmed on-site at the film studio with the sceneries of a huge mountain gorge created specifically for film.
