The Ukrainian ambassador to Thailand Andriy Beshta died at the age of 46. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry noted that Andriy Beshta began working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in 1998 after graduating from the Faculty of International Relations of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. He worked in the field of multilateral relations in the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, went on foreign business trips to the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN in New York and the Ukrainian Embassy in Thailand, was a member of the Ukrainian delegation in the 67-70th sessions of the UN General Assembly.

Since November 2015, he served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Thailand. Since 2017, he has also been the ambassador of Ukraine to Laos and Myanmar concurrently.

President Volodymyr Zelensky also expressed his condolences.

As we reported earlier, in Egypt, during a dive near the city of Dahab, the former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Viсtor Hvozd did not swim after the dive.

Immediately after his disappearance, rescuers began searching for his or his body. The situation was taken under control by the Ukrainian embassy in Egypt.
