Ukrainian Air Forces state on future replenishment of aircraft fleet

30 modified fighter aircraft to replenish the aircraft fleet of Air Forces of Ukraine in 2018. The Commander of the Air Forces of Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel General Serhii Drozdov claimed this to Narodna Armiia in the interview 

‘We are expecting to receive from Ukrboronprom concern up to 30 fixed and modified planes in 2018. Mikoyan MiG-29 and Sukhoi Su-27 fighter aircraft, and  Sukhoi Su-25 attack planes,’ he claimed.

Drozdov also said that the Odessa plant cooperated with other enterprises of Defense Industrial Complex are working on the modernization of Sukhoi Su-24MP. 

‘We understand that the vehicles ain’t new but I am sure owing to the modernization, we can actively use them in the following years,’ he stressed.
