Ukraine’s Ombudsman Lyudmyla Denisova called on international organizations to respond to the violation of the rights of Ukrainian citizens in the annexed Crimea. She also urged them to use the necessary mechanisms to help them. Denisova wrote about it on her Facebook page.

"I urge UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, OSCE Chairman Edi Rama, Council of Europe's Commissioner for Human Rights, Dunja Mijatović, and representatives of all diplomatic missions to use all mechanisms, capabilities, powers and resources to respond to all these blatant violations of Ukrainian citizens' rights, to prevent the inevitable consequences for their health and to save someone from death," Denisova said.

She stressed that Rustem Sheikhaliiev and Vladlen Abdulkadyrov were placed in a psychiatric hospital, Oleh Prykhodko was isolated from the outside world, Tofik Abdulgaziyev and Dzhemil Gafarov - did not receive proper help in the pre-trial detention center.

As we reported earlier, Ukrainian Ombudsman Lyudmyla Denisova asks her Russian colleague Tatiana Moskalkova to provide the holding of the thorough medical examination of Crimean Tatar Alim Karimov kept in the remand center of Rostov Oblast.

According to Ukrainian ombudsman, Karimov has got tonsillitis, resulting in 39,5º fever for three days.
