Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said that the Council had an understanding of how the situation with the coronavirus pandemic would develop. Danilov told about it in an interview with Ukrayinska Pravda.

"We have an understanding, but I would not want to scare people with these numbers," Danilov said.

He added that he had personally passed four tests for coronavirus.

It is worth noting that 49,043 people have been infected with the coronavirus in Ukraine since the beginning of the pandemic.

As we reported earlier, Ukraine's Chief Sanitary Doctor Viktor Lyahsko warns that Ukraine will not be able to defeat the pandemic if citizens and businesses do not comply with the restrictive measures that the Cabinet of Ministers has developed.

"There is a problem (violation of the quarantine regime, - ed.) that needs to be resolved. There were discussions with business, representatives of associations, organizations in order to set norms that will actually work. Non-registration of norms leads to their violation, violations form a negative image and a potential source of infection," he stated.
