The National Bank of Ukraine will put a five-hryvnia coin in circulation, dedicated to the 62nd song contest Eurovision, which takes place in Ukraine, the press service of the NBU reported that.
The five-hryvnia commemorative coin “Eurovision 2017 Song Contest” will be made of nickel silver
“A composition with panoramic view of Kyiv with the city’s saint patron archangel Michael will be depicted on one side of the coin. The other shall have the official slogan and logo of Eurovision 2017, colored beads, with blue-and-yellow heart inside with inscriptions EUROVISION SONG CONTEST KYIV 2017 and CELEBRATE DIVERSITY," – reads the message by the NBU.
The run will be 40 thousand coins, the price is $1.7 (46 hryvnias) per coin.
Half of the coin edition will be available on the official web-site of the regulator through the online-order mechanism from May 5 till May 15, 2017.
