Volodymyr Mula's documentary UKE - the unknown history of historical legends will fight for the highest international recognition in the field of sports media: the film was selected for the short list of AIPS Sport Media Awards 2020 in the Video Documentary category.

Along with UKE, the short list includes projects of the world's leading broadcasters ORF, Globo TV, ESPN, CNN, Canal +.

AIPS Sport Media Awards is the highest international sports media award. The internationally recognized sports press association AIPS, with representatives from 160 countries, honors the professionals who produce the best and most creative sports content on the planet, from photography to video to digital podcasts.

For the first time in history, a documentary from Ukraine has a chance to win the AIPS Sport Media Awards. Winners will be announced in mid-March.

As we reported earlier, the work on a new documentary called EuroDonbas began.

The picture is supposed to tell the story of foreigners who founded many cities in Donetsk region; the people who built factories and metal works, turning the region into one of the most developed localities in Europe; and the people who re-wrote this history and deleted it from memory of Ukrainians.
