Ukraine's Ministry of Health reports 156 cases of Covid-19

As of Thursday morning, 156 cases of coronavirus have been officially confirmed in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

Over the last 24 hours, 43 new cases have been identified.

"According to the Center of Public Health, as of 10:00, on March 26, there are 156 laboratory-confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Ukraine, including five deaths, one patient has recovered and has already been discharged from hospital," the message reads.

As of now, coronavirus disease is detected in:

Vinnytsia region - one case; Volyn region - two cases; Dnipropetrovsk region - two cases; Donetsk region - one case; Zaporizhzhya region - seven cases; Zhytomyr region - two (one fatal) cases; Ivano-Frankivsk region - 16 (two fatal) cases; Kyiv - 34 cases; Kyiv region - 24 cases; Lviv region - two cases; Luhansk region - one; Odesa region - four; Ternopil region - 15 cases (one fatal); Kherson region - one case; Chernivtsi region - 42 (one fatal) cases; Cherkasy region - two cases.

As we reported earlier, according to Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine's Foreign Minister, about 20,000 Ukrainians abroad have applied to Ukrainian diplomatic missions to help them return home.
