Ukraine's Marines to drive new armored cars during military parade on Independence Day

A motorized column of servicemen of the 36th Marines Brigade will participate in the military parade timed to the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence. The servicemen are to drive new Kozak-2 armored cars, ArmiyaInform reports.

"Our brigade will send 12 specialized armored cars Kozak-2 that we received before the preparations for the parade, as well as 40 people (crew members and technical maintenance teams), which are supposed to join the solemn march", the unit's press office said.

The 36th Marines Brigade began their rehearsals of the parade on June 25. They are practicing every day. Until August 7, they trained at Spivaky airfield near Chernihiv, northern Ukraine. Next, the column is supposed to move to Kyiv, where it will keep practicing during major rehearsals at the landing strip of Antonov state enterprise and in Khreshchatyk street where the parade is going to take place.

The program of celebration of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence in 202 has been released. More than 150 events will be taking place all over the country on August 22-24.
