Ukraine's law enforcers detain Russian citizen involved in ISIS activity

Fighters of the Criminal Investigation Department and Operative Rapid Action Corps (KORD) detained a 30-year-old Russian citizen. They claimed he was involved in a terrorist organization.

The PR department of the police of Zhytomyr region reported that on Thursday.

The man has been on the international wanted list, as he had committed a murder.

According to the given information, the detained man is a member of the ISIS; he even led a militant group in this terrorist organization.

Currently, the authorities are deciding whether the culprit should be extradited. 

Previously, a joint special operation took place in Kyiv region; law enforcers from Ukraine, Georgia and the U.S. conducted a mission, during which they detained an ISIS leader, Al Bara Shishani.
