Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry assumes there's a chance that another halt of public transport traffic in Kyiv is possible. Viktor Lyashko, the Chief Sanitary Doctor and Deputy Minister of Healthcare reported that in an interview with Segodnya.
"If we're talking the red level of epidemic danger, there are two points concerning the public transport. The first one is restriction of the work of public transport. The second one is restriction of boarding on interregional transport. Routes that depart from Kyiv can be banned, too. I'm not saying it will be imposed instantly, but such option can not be ruled out", reads the message.
The new quarantine zoning became effective in Ukraine on November 2. 11 regional capitals ended up in the red zone, where the public transport traffic is restricted.Kyiv remains in the orange zone.
Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers extended the quarantine in Ukraine until December 31.
