He added that it will be possible to avoid the peak if people stick to the recommendations and plan of the ministry.
“All events that we hold are taken from the point of view of the fight against coronavirus disease and from the point of view of imposing of quarantine; I am sure that if we stick to the recommendations and plan developed by the Health Ministry and which is approved by the government, we will be able to avoid the peak. When we talk about peak, it is the state when the medical system is not able to provide medical assistance to people who need it; it is so loaded that it cannot admit the patients. If we stick to all quarantine events, I am sure that peak is improbable,” Stepanov said.
Over the last 24 hours, 401 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in Ukraine. 9,419 cases of coronavirus were confirmed: 239 of them were lethal, 992 patients recovered.
