Since November 9,new restrictions on the work of restaurants and holding of mass events are introduced in Ukraine, due to the fact, that almost the entire territory of Ukraine falls into the "orange zone" of epidemic danger. Deputy Minister of Health and Chief Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko announced this during a briefing.
"From Monday, 12 a.m. on the territory of the whole country (except those territories where the "red level" is established), the "orange level" of epidemic danger will be in effect. It will be prohibited to hold mass events in which more than 20 people take part and public transport which carry more people than seats," he said.
"Restaurants and cafes can only work for takeaway," Lyashko added.
In addition, the work of night clubs and discos is prohibited.
Restrictions also imply the cancellation of planned hospitalizations and operations, allowing only emergency ones.
As we reported earlier, the Ukrainian Cabinet imposed new epidemic zoning in the country, which is to become active since midnight of November 9. Kyiv remains in the orange zone, while many regional capital cities are in the red zone.
According to the map, Poltava and Zhytomyr regions are completely in the red zone; much of Khmelnytsky and Chernivtsi regions are in the red one, too. Thjis also concerns regional capitals such as Sumy, Mykolaiv, Ivano-Frankivsk and some others.
