The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov said that President Volodymyr Zelensky feels fine after being vaccinated with the Indian vaccine CoviShield. Stepanov said this on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel.
"The President received the vaccine yesterday. I talked to him in the evening. He feels great, everything is fine, without any complications," Stepanov said.
He also noted that the Ministry of Health made changes to the vaccination plan and thereby allowed an extraordinary vaccination of public figures.
“It is important to vaccinate as many people as possible,” the minister added.
As we reported earlier, President Zelensky was vaccinated against coronavirus during a working trip to the Donbas conflict area.
Zelensky was vaccinated with CoviShield, which is licensed by the Oxford/AstraZeneca and produced by the Institute of Serum in India.
"Got vaccinated against Covid-19. Did this on the frontline with our soldiers as Supreme C-in-C. The same Oxford/AstraZeneca (Covishield) from India, which was delivered 1st to Ukraine and received by millions of people in the world. The vaccine will let us live without restrictions again," he wrote.
