‘The main program provides the budget in the sum of $248 million. In its basis is the continuation of the repair works all over the country on the part of the roads that we started to repair in 2017. All repair works are performed on the route principle. Moreover, there are five separate budget programs with the separate financing’, he said.
According to him, the first program is the project of GO Highway. It will allow almost complete repair of the Lviv-Uman road. It is planned to allocate $150.8 million for this. The second program provides the repair of the part of M-03 Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhansky that will cost $75 million. Particularly, the funds will be spent for the end of the building of the by-pass round Lubny, Poltava region and end of the repair of the road at the part Kharkiv-Sloviansk, Kharkiv region.
The third program is the separate budget financing of the repair of P-46 Kharkiv- Okhtyrka road in Kharkiv ad Sumy regions. It is planned to allocate $37.7 million within the program. Also, it is planned to allocate $75 million within the fourth program for the repair of H-31Dnipro- Reshetylivka road in Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions.
The repair of H-03 Chernivtsi-Khmelnytsky-Zhytomyr road will be held within the fifth program and $37.7 million will be allocated.
‘So, the repair of the main highways on the route principle will take place during the year. Moreover, the repair of a few roads, particularly H-11 Mykolaiv-Dnipro, H-08 Zaporizhya-Mariupol, roads in Lviv, Volyn, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhya and Sumy regions remains to be the top priority. The repair works will take place in all regions. Also, 68 million euro of the Polish debt will be spent for the repair of six part of the road in Lviv and Volyn regions, 50 million euro of the Hungarian debt will be spent for the building of the by-pass round Berehove and near-border road’, Novak said.
Slavomyr Novak emphasized that $1.7 billion should be allocated to the road sphere in 2018.
‘It is planned to use $1.3 billion through the Road Fund, $430 million will be spent on the separate investment projects and $226 million through the custom experiment. However, we still did not get any agreement from any region at the expense of the custom experiment’, he noted.
As we reported Ukraine’s road-building industry will receive around $1.66 billion of financing through the start of operation of the State road fund and other sources.
