Foreign diplomats will be vaccinated against coronavirus in Ukraine, but this depends on certain conditions. Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba spoke about the conditions in an interview with Radio Svoboda.
"Ukraine will vaccinate foreign diplomats on the basis of the principle of reciprocity in relation to our diplomats abroad. That is, if our diplomats were vaccinated in country X, then we vaccinated their diplomats," Kuleba explained.
According to him, this is a normal international practice.
Meanwhile, more than 1.6 million doses of coronavirus vaccines have already been delivered to Ukraine. However, more deliveries are expected in May and, accordingly, an increase in the daily number of vaccinated people. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
“In general, the number of vaccines already delivered to Ukraine has reached more than 1.6 million doses. As promised, the vaccination campaign is accelerating. This week we managed to reach more than 70,000 vaccinations per day. In May, we expect more deliveries and, accordingly, an increase in the daily number of vaccinated people," Shmyhal wrote.
