As part of his working visit to Romania, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba announced the opening of a new consulate. The press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reports this.
"I decided to open a consulate in the city of Sighetu Marmatia. I know that this is an important, key place for Ukrainians in Romania. The new consulate will create access to high-quality services, as well as become a tool for improving interaction with you to preserve our culture and strengthen relations between Ukraine and Romania," Kuleba said.
In addition, Dmytro Kuleba invited representatives of the Ukrainian community in Romania to join the development of a new Foreign Ministry policy towards foreign Ukrainians.
As we reported before, Ukrainian Defense Minister Andriy Taran and Romanian National Defense Minister Nicolae Ciucă signed an agreement on cooperation in the military-technical sphere.
Earlier, Andriy Taran announced the creation of the Department of International Defense Cooperation of the Ministry of Defense.
