Ukraine will launch regular international air travel to countries that will agree and be ready to receive Ukrainians. Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krikliy announced this, Radio Liberty reports.
“During this week, we met with all carriers, including national ones, held communications on the opening of international and domestic flights. The situation may differ by region - depending on the epidemiological situation in the regions and on how other countries will open for Ukrainian citizens,“ Krikliy noted.
According to him, European countries will open borders from the end of May, and the opening of Ukrainian borders will be mirrored. There is still no exact date in the ministry, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is negotiating with international partners.
As we reported before, Ukraine's public transport will resume its work not earlier than June, and only after the Cabinet of Ministers begins to lift quarantine restrictions.
“When the wave goes down, we can resume the work of public transport so that it works stably,” he said.
