Ukraine and Turkey are developing plans to join forces in the production of Antonov Ukrainian aircraft Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitro Kuleba stated that as quoted by Atlantic Council.

"During the last meeting with my Turkish colleague Mevlut Cavusoglu in Lviv in October 2021, he expressed Turkey's interest in the Antonov aircraft. Ukraine approves of this interest and is ready to study the possibilities of joint production of Antonov aircraft and international exports," the minister assured.

Kuleba explained that with the escalation of the climate crisis and the threat of forest fires in Turkey and dozens of other countries around the world, the demand for firefighting aircrafts will increase.
