On March 18, Ukraine will temporarily suspend the operation of the subway in the number of Ukrainian cities. The decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers at a meeting on Monday, Infrastructure Minister Vladislav Krykliy reported this on his Telegram channel.

"From 12:00 am on March 18, 2020, the work of the subway in the cities stops," Krykliy wrote.

As of now, Ukraine blocked all types of traffic across the state border as part of measures to combat the Covid-2019 epidemic.

On March 16, it temporarily closed about a hundred checkpoints and banned entry into Ukraine for foreigners.
