Ukraine to switch to winter time on October 25

Summertime mode in Ukraine will be over on October 25, at 4 a.m. Kyiv time. The Department of Technical Regulation of Ministry of Economic Development, Trade, and Agriculture of Ukraine reported that on September 29. 

On October 25, Ukrainians will have to turn back their clocks by one hour.

Local elections are supposed to take place in this country on the same day.

Meanwhile, Former MP and current candidate for Kyiv mayor's office Boryslav Bereza got sick with Covid-19. He and his family went for a self-lockdown at home, which is in line with recommendations of the World Health Organization and Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry. Bereza posted this on Facebook.

"Troubled breath, cough and crepitation in the upper chest urged my doctor to recommend that I run a repeated PCR test. And it confirmed that I have "corona", reads the message.
