The Ukrainian government will monitor the dynamics of lockdown easing in the EU countries and will propose some steps in view of the Ukrainian situation. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Health and Chief Sanitary Doctor Victor Lyashko, NV.ua reports.
"We will monitor the dynamics in the countries of the European Union and will propose some mitigation steps, taking our situation into account. But there will be mitigations. We would like people to abide by all quarantine conditions for Easter. Let's see what will happen five to seven days after Easter ends when there is the highest number of infected people. This is going to happen if people do not comply with quarantine. And then we will make a decision," Lyashko said.
According to him, if people refuse to follow all the restrictions then we can have a huge splash. The average incubation period of the coronavirus is 14 days. But the symptoms appear on the fifth or seventh day.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine's Healthcare Minister Maksym Stepanov stated that Ukraine is fully equipped with the required number of PCR tests.
