The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine plans to limit the gas price for bread production companies to the level of $ 925 per thousand cubic meters. This is mentioned in the draft of the document that ended up at the disposal of the RBC-Ukraine news agency.
It is planned that the restrictions will be viable during the quarantine but not after March 31, 2022.
The document proposes to establish that the price of gas is determined monthly as the arithmetic average of quotations on stock exchanges, but it should not exceed $ 925 per thousand cubic meters.
Also, according to the draft decree, trade surcharge for supply of natural gas of own production for bakeries is set at the level not higher than one hundred percent.
Earlier, it became known that Ukrainian producers of dairy products threaten to close factories because of "catastrophic" prices for gas. The association "Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine" asked the government to establish a grace period for the industry.
