Covid certificates will be launched in Ukraine two weeks after these are approved by the EU. The documents can only be received from family doctors. Oleg Nemchynov, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine said so on air of Ukraine 24 TV channel.

According to him, Europe has considerably increased its requirements for the certificate, and it will require quite serious legal bills to get the access to certain registers.

Nemchynov explained that currently, the document includes the data about the completed vaccination course and the medical establishment where the vaccination procedures took place. It is used for crossing of state borders of the countries that recognize this document.

Earlier, the European Commission decided to launch the digital certificates of vaccination since July 1. Un early May, the-then Healthcare Minister of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov said that these documents could be introduced in Ukraine on the same day.
