As of October 7, Ukraine occupied the 7th place in Europe and 13th in the world on the number of Covid-19 cases as Worldometers reported.

The first place is taken by France with 18,700 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours; the UK is in second place (14,000 new cases) and Russia is in third place (11,100 new cases).

India occupied the first place in the world with 78,800 new cases; the U.S. is in second place with 48,700 cases and Brazil is in third place with 31,400 new cases.

As of the morning of October 8, the number of people infected with coronavirus in Ukraine was 244,734. Over the last 24 hours, 5,397 new cases of Covid-19 were observed. Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 4,690 people have died due to complications caused by the disease (+93), and 108,233 patients (+ 2263 during the day) have managed to recover.
