On Saturday, November 6, Belarus resumed commercial electricity supplies to Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the country.

"In accordance with the signed contract, supplies will be carried out during November," the message says.

The delivery schedule was formed by the Belarusian side, taking into account the available technical capabilities: operating modes of the power system and the capacity of generating equipment.

Yesterday it was reported that deliveries will be carried out according to an even schedule from 00:00 to 23:00 on November 6 without interruptions. Their capacity will be 5 MW during the day.

On November 2, the Ministry of Energy of Belarus announced that, within the framework of emergency assistance, supplies of electricity to Ukraine had begun. Deliveries are carried out at the request of the Ukrainian side.

The transmission system operator Ukrenergo named the reason for the activation of emergency assistance to Belarus in the power supply is the lack of capacity in the United Energy System of Ukraine in connection with the increased accident rate at the power units of thermal stations.
