President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that his country should launch its own production of medications from Covid-19. The head of the state said so during the staff meeting as quoted by the press department of the President's Office.

"[We need to see to it] that the production of these vaccines is developed in Ukraine. We should be negotiating about complex approach and cooperation", Zelensky said.

The President made a special emphasis on having respective production capacity in Ukraine so as to quickly launch the production of vaccine - if the international authorities make the decision to open public access for the vaccine's formula.

Earlier, the SBU, Ukraine's Security Service busted the criminal gang that sold fake "vaccine" allegedly made by Pfizer company. Press office of the SBU reported that on May 11.

The law enforcers found out that the gang included Ukrainians, Russians, Nigerians and citizens of Sierra Leone. Having learned that Pfizer company launched supplies of its drug to Ukraine, the culprits decided to earn on it.

THe gang placed an ad on the Internet; it said that there are enterprises in Ukraine that can allegedly provide citizens with Pfizer vaccine. To persuade clients that they had the real vaccine, the culprits passed them faked warrant letters from Ukrainian banks; these "documents" included account numbers for money transfers owned by Ukrainian citizens. The price of one dose of fake vaccine cost 250 U.S. dollars.
